Who's behind the egg that broke the Instagram world record?

Who's behind the egg that broke the Instagram world record?By now, you've heard about the egg, which surpassed a photo of Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi, on Sunday as the most-liked post on Instagram.

But who did the egg? Whose dumb but ultimately successful idea was this?

Here's what we know so far:

## 1\. The egg account holder goes by "Henrietta."

Henrietta is, according to a report from BuzzFeed News, a "chicken from the British countryside."

## 2\. The account holder, however, claims to live in London.

"I'm an individual living in London," the account holder told The Independent earlier this week. They also revealed that they only have 400 followers on their personal Instagram account.

## 3\. The egg's name is Eugene, allegedly.

In some interviews, the account holder goes by the name Eugene, bypassing the whole "Henrietta" schtick entirely.

## 4\. The person who did the egg was participating in dry January at the time.

Nothing breeds creativity like suddenly not drinking.

## 5\. Fans of the egg are called the "Egg Gang."

Sure.

## 6\. The egg account follows 928 accounts and two hashtags.

The hashtags are #WSHH — WorldStarHipHop — and #FatBoySSE, who is a rapper from New Jersey.

## 7\. Supreme Patty is a suspect.

So far, the only public figure to have implied responsibility for the egg is Supreme Patty, an Instagram star who smokes hot sauce and is known for squeezing lemon juice into his own eyes. While Patty didn't claim he did the egg outright, one of his friends did say so in a TMZ interview. (This is, of course, to be taken with a lemon-sized grain of salt.)

For what it's worth, we do not think Supreme Patty did the egg. It's more likely that he's just capitalizing on the big meme of the moment. He did get an egg tattoo, though, so kudos on committing to the bit. And the egg does follow him on Instagram.

We've reached out to Supreme Patty and will update this post if we hear back.

## 8\. Okay, the egg account says it's not Supreme Patty.

In an Instagram story posted on Tuesday, @world_record_egg claimed the TMZ story was bogus. "We're still anonymous. Fake news," they wrote.

So we guess it's not Supreme Patty. Stay tuned for more egg updates.

This story is developing …

UPDATE: Jan. 16, 2019, 1:34 p.m. ET This story was updated to include information regarding the egg's Instagram Story as well as the hashtags it follows.

Instagram fitness model removed from American Airlines flight after 'humiliating' row

Instagram fitness model removed from American Airlines flight after 'humiliating' row An Instagram fitness model was “humiliated” after being removed from an American Airlines flight following a row with staff. Jen Selter, who has 11 million followers on Instagram, posted footage of her arguing with a pilot and a flight attendant on the delayed flight from Miami to New York on 27 January. “I did nothing wrong but got kicked off the plane,” she wrote, adding she had the “worst experience” following a delay which left the aircraft stuck on the runway for two hours. The 24-year-old claims she and her sister were told to leave the aircraft following a disagreement with a male attendant when she got up to put her coat away and stretch her legs. She argues that two other passengers had been allowed to go to the bathroom when she stood up, adding she was being sarcastic after responding “yeah” when asked by the attendant,  “Do you want to get kicked off the plane?” Current situation @AmericanAir .. insane. pic.twitter.com/kIOh3VysnU— Jen Selter (@JenSelter) January 28, 2018 Ms Selter says the attendant told her to sit down and they began arguing resulting in the pilot calling the police who then arrived on board. “The crew is asking for you guys to be removed off the plane,” the pilot tells them in one clip. Just like that, 5 cops coming at me. Worst experience American Air ✌ pic.twitter.com/1LY1NrAQ3k— Jen Selter (@JenSelter) January 28, 2018 In another video, a police officer tells the sisters: “American Airlines calls the shots. They don’t want you to fly on their plane today.” Ms Selter told the New York Post: “It was humiliating. They made me feel like a terrible person, and I did nothing wrong.” A spokesperson for American Airlines said in a statement: “Ms. Selter was asked to leave the aircraft after a disagreement occurred Saturday night at Miami International Airport (MIA). “American offered her hotel accommodations and transportation, which she declined. She flew on American Sunday morning back to New York (LGA) – arriving around 8:30 a.m. ET yesterday morning.” Ms Selter has vowed “to never fly American Airlines again”.

Bae creeping on their ex's Instagram? They could be 'micro-cheating'

Bae creeping on their ex's Instagram? They could be 'micro-cheating'Cushioning, breadcrumbing, kittenfishing, tindstagramming—it seems there's no end to the additions to our dating lexicon.  And, friends, we've got yet another term to add to our dictionaries: "micro-cheating."  "Micro-cheating" is a new term to describe a partner's "seemingly small actions" which suggests a person is "emotionally or physically focused" on someone else. Things like repeatedly liking an ex's Instagram posts, or constantly texting someone else.  Readers beware: this term might bring you some momentary relief that there's ~finally~ a word to describe your relationship pet peeve. But, you could end up misconstruing platonic gestures as "micro-cheating."  SEE ALSO: Swiping is the new cheating—or is it? Dating expert Melanie Schilling, who coined the term in 2017, explained to
HuffPost that these small actions can occur in the digital realm, as well as offline.  "You might be engaging in micro-cheating if you secretly connect with another guy/girl on social media; if you share private jokes; if you downplay the seriousness of your relationship to another guy/girl; or if you enter their name under a code in your phone," says Schilling.  "Other things you should look out for are if your partner is having private conversations or online chats that he/she quickly shuts down when you enter the room," Schilling continues. According to Schilling, these acts are "signs" that your partner is conducting a "covert flirtation" which they could be hiding from you.  Those who experience small twinges of jealousy when we see partners repeatedly liking their ex's sultry Instagram selfies can take solace in the fact that there's now a word to describe this behaviour. But, it's also worth taking the term with a pinch of salt. The small acts mentioned by Schilling can be totally harmless in many cases. Your partner could simply be engaging with a friend for whom they have no romantic feelings.  Schilling recommends establishing the "intention behind the behaviour" which will help you decipher the meaning behind their "micro-cheating."  "If this is an unconscious habit your partner has developed over time, due to previous partners allowing it, then you have the opportunity to put your foot down and set some new rules," says Schilling. She adds that if it's something "they are actively choosing to do" and they refuse to change, then you might want to consider showing them the door.  The new term is proving divisive on social media, and many feel that the term depicts actions which could well be the result of a platonic relationship.  I am not down with this "micro cheating" conversation which, to me, is all about straight people deciding never to have meaningful connections with people outside of their gender out of fear they will replace feelings for an SO — Casey Quinlan (@thatcaseyquin) January 11, 2018 having friends: micro-cheating — erin the ultimate nope rat (@eehouls) January 11, 2018 "microcheating" is a stupid concept and you're ALLOWED to have meaningful friendships with people outside of your relationship. if your partner tells you otherwise, that! is! abuse! — clowncipher wants you to please take his teef (@BLASTPROCESSlNG) January 11, 2018 Proceed with this new term with caution, folks.  WATCH: These are some of the weirdest dating apps of 2017
