Fox News Host Steve Hilton Blasts Liz Cheney: Your Dad ‘Literally’ Killed Millions

Fox News Host Steve Hilton Blasts Liz Cheney: Your Dad ‘Literally’ Killed MillionsFox News host Steve Hilton tore into Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on Monday for publicly objecting to President Donald Trump’s initial plan to invite the Taliban to Camp David just days before the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, pointing out that her father was “literally” responsible for “millions of deaths.”Over the weekend, Trump announced via Twitter that he was canceling secret Camp David peace talks with the Taliban and the Afghanistan government to bring an eventual end to the nearly 18-year Afghan war, blaming a recent Taliban attack that killed a U.S. soldier. That the meeting was scheduled mere days before the 9/11 anniversary, however, prompted widespread and bipartisan criticism.“Camp David is where America’s leaders met to plan our response after al Qaeda, supported by the Taliban, killed 3000 Americans on 9/11,” Cheney tweeted Sunday morning. “No member of the Taliban should set foot there. Ever. The Taliban still harbors al Qaeda. The President is right to end the talks.”Appearing as Fox News chat-fest Outnumbered’s “One Lucky Guy” on Monday, Hilton took issue with the amount of condemnation and ridicule the president has received over the scuttled peace talks. And he specifically took Cheney to task.Declaring that he was “very angry” with all of “these establishment types” wondering how Trump could invite the Taliban to Camp David, Hilton claimed the president is “actually trying to clean up the mess that all these establishment people with their military-industrial complex cronies” created.“And please spare us,” Hilton exclaimed, referencing Cheney. “She talks about death. Her father literally was responsible for not just the thousands of deaths that she rightly attributes to the Taliban, millions of deaths, billions of dollars wasted going into the company that he was the CEO of.”Cheney’s father, of course, is former Vice-President Dick Cheney, who is seen as the chief architect of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq following the 9/11 terror attacks. Prior to becoming vice-president, Dick Cheney was the CEO of multinational oil-field service company Halliburton, which received a $ 7-billion no-bid government contract in the run-up to the Iraq War.“The corruption of this military-industrial complex, the establishment that supported them led to all these problems that Donald Trump is trying to clear out,” Hilton concluded.Read more at The Daily Beast.Got a tip? Fox Business Host Stuart Varney Tells Joe Walsh: Trump Has Never Lied

Fox Business Host Stuart Varney Tells Joe Walsh: Trump Has Never LiedFox Business Network host Stuart Varney proclaimed with a straight face on Friday morning that President Donald Trump has never lied to the American people, asserting that Trump has only ever exaggerated and spun.During an interview with former one-term tea party Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), who recently announced a long-shot primary bid against Trump, the Fox host took issue with Walsh’s insistence that Trump is a pathological liar, asking the ex-congressman for specifics.Walsh, meanwhile, pointed to recent reports that White House aides have admitted that the president recently faked high-level phone calls with China regarding trade in an effort to boost markets, something Varney claimed doesn’t count as a lie.“That’s not a lie,” Varney exclaimed. “If the man said and he did that high-level talks had been held with China, that is not a lie. They were held with China.”“Stuart, he said there were high-level phone calls with Chinese officials, his staff admitted that was not true, that he lied in order to manipulate the market,” Walsh retorted, prompting Varney to wave him off.“Give me another one,” the pro-Trump anchor huffed.Walsh, however, pushed back, asking Varney if he genuinely didn’t believe that was a lie. When the Fox Business host insisted he did not and personally objected to Walsh calling it one, the former Republican lawmaker then wondered if Varney actually believed if Trump has ever fibbed.“Stuart, do you believe this president lies?” Walsh asked.“No,” Varney replied.“You don’t believe he’s ever lied?” Walsh shot back in disbelief.“He exaggerates and spins,” the Fox host retorted.“Okay. Do you believe he’s ever told the American people a lie?” Walsh pressed again.“No,” Varney stated. From there, Varney tried to flip it back around on Walsh, asking him if he lied when he said President Barack Obama was a Muslim, causing Walsh to admit it was a lie and that he’s apologized for that.Varney’s delusional declaration that the president—who has told at least 12,000 lies and false statement since entering the White House—has never lied comes on the heels of Trump 2020 campaign spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany saying the same thing on CNN earlier this week, flooring CNN anchor Chris Cuomo.Read more at The Daily Beast.Got a tip? Fox News Host Jeanine Pirro: Dems Plotting to ‘Replace American Citizens With Illegals’

Fox News Host Jeanine Pirro: Dems Plotting to ‘Replace American Citizens With Illegals’MIKE THEILERNearly a month after an accused shooter reportedly said he deliberately targeted “Mexicans” while killing more than 20 people in El Paso, Fox News personalities are still echoing the same talking points from the gunman’s racist manifesto, in which he complained about a “Hispanic invasion” of America.Appearing on Fox Nation’s The Todd Starnes Show on Thursday, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was asked by Starnes—who recently likened migrants to a “rampaging horde” of Nazis—if Democrats and liberals hate President Donald Trump and his supporters.Pirro, who is currently promoting a book that Trump has already endorsed, took the opportunity to push a version of the “Great Replacement theory”—the same racist lie that was cited by the El Paso gunman and other recent domestic terrorist attackers.“They hate Donald Trump—he’s the one they want to get rid of,” she said, in a segment first spotted by Media Matters. “Their plot to remake America is to bring in the illegals, change the way the voting occurs in this country, give them licenses. They get to vote—maybe once, maybe twice, maybe three times.”After decrying same-day voter registration and grousing about voter rolls not being purged, Pirro—who was suspended by Fox earlier this year for questioning Ilhan Omar’s loyalty to America—went right back to the far-right well.“Think about it,” Pirro exclaimed. “It is a plot to remake America—to replace American citizens with illegals who will vote for the Democrats.”Pirro’s comments come just days after the National Association of Hispanic Journalists cut ties with Fox News over the network’s use of “invasion” rhetoric to describe immigration, with the NAHJ saying Starnes’ remark about immigrants was the final straw. In the wake of the El Paso slayings, Fox News has been the focus of widespread criticism for the extreme anti-immigrant rhetoric of many of its opinion hosts. Tucker Carlson, for instance, has seen a further erosion of his advertiser base after he called white supremacy a “hoax” just days after the shooting.Read more at The Daily Beast.Got a tip? Fox News Host Quickly Moves On After GOP Rep. Says Tlaib ‘Hates Jews More Than She Likes Her Grandmother’

Fox News Host Quickly Moves On After GOP Rep. Says Tlaib ‘Hates Jews More Than She Likes Her Grandmother’Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner swiftly brushed aside a Republican congressman’s inflammatory comments about Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) on Tuesday, briefly expressing shock when Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) said Tlaib “hates Jews more than she likes her grandmother” before ultimately moving on.Green, who was part of a group of lawmakers who recently traveled to Israel, appeared on Fox News’ Outnumbered Overtime to discuss Israel’s controversial decision to bar Reps. Tlaib and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from entering the country.Reacting to the two Muslim congresswomen’s recent press conference denouncing the travel restrictions, Green claimed everything they said in the presser was an “absolute lie” before taking aim at Tlaib, who cried while talking about her Palestinian grandmother.“This grandmother visit and the tears,” he groused. “She hadn’t visited her grandmother for 13 years prior to this. If she really wanted to go see her grandmother, she would have gone.”Noting that Tlaib refused Israel’s offer for her to specifically see her grandmother, Green then added, “Obviously she hates Jews more than she likes her grandmother. Obviously.”“Oh my goodness,” Faulkner uttered, apparently taken aback.Instead of addressing the Tennessee lawmaker’s incendiary remarks, the Fox News anchor went right back to her set of questions she wanted to ask Green, which centered around Muslims serving in Israel’s Knesset and Tlaib’s dismissal of criticism of the group that was set to sponsor her Israel trip. The Fox anchor, meanwhile, never circled back to Green’s comments, letting the incendiary accusation sit without any pushback. The Tennessee congressman’s remarks come on the heels of President Donald Trump saying he doesn’t “buy” Tlaib’s tears, claiming he’s “watched her violence, craziness and, most importantly, WORDS, for far too long” while also accusing her of hating “all Jewish people.”Read more at The Daily Beast.Got a tip?
