WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said Wednesday that he wants a briefing from the FBI on the tactics it used last week when agents arrested President Donald Trump's confidant Roger Stone as part of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.
Tesla names board director to replace Musk
Tesla said it has appointed Robyn Denholm of the Australian telecoms company Telstra as board director after Elon Musk resigned from the post. The appointment of Denholm, who is Telstra’s chief financial officer, is effective immediately but she will serve out her six-month notice period with her current employer, Tesla said in a statement late Wednesday. Denholm had already served as a member of the Tesla board since 2014.
N. Korea hospital director rejects Warmbier torture charges
The director of the North Korean hospital that treated Otto Warmbier, the US student who died after being held in the country, rejected fresh allegations that he was tortured in custody. The 22-year-old was jailed in the North for more than a year and was released in a comatose state in 2017 but died shortly after returning home. The director of the Pyongyang Friendship Hospital — which treated Warmbier — slammed the claims as a “total distortion of the truth” in a statement carried by the North’s official KCNA news agency late Saturday.

Former CDC director Frieden arrested for sexual abuse
Thomas Frieden, a former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), was arrested in New York City on Friday on charges of sexual abuse, forcible touching and harassment of a woman last year, the New York Police Department said. Frieden, who also once served as New York City’s health commissioner, turned himself into a Brooklyn police station on Friday morning, Arlene Muniz, a police spokeswoman, said.
