Duchess of Sussex tells students in Fiji girl's education is key to developmentThe Duchess of Sussex told students at the the University of the South Pacific in Fiji that she was only able to attend university thanks to scholarships, financial aid programs and paid work on campus. "And it was worth every effort," she added.  In her first official address of the Royal tour in Fiji, she told the crowds that everyone has a "right" to education and that girl's education is key to "economic and social" advancement in developing countries.   Meghan also announced that two new grants would be awarded to Fiji National University and the University of South Pacific under the Association of Commonwealth Universities, allowing for workshops to "empower their female staff."
